Spotless and lovely little hotel with fantastic view of the garden. Stunning, comfortable location in York, short walk to the former gardens and thee restaurant.

Everything was really good, the staff were flexible and the location was stunning. My room was luxurious with the garden and 4 poster bed plus a vast bathroom. I went to a really nice restaurant and loved the vegetarian dishes. The service was very good, I had 3 lovely nights here. Besides, I was able to park on-site.

The rooms come with cozy beds that are well-equipped for a comfortable stay.

The location was fantastic, at a short distance from Kohima Museum. The room was surfaced cleaned but needed a really good deep clean and available with an un-flushed toilet...

Their staff were not so helpful.

The rooms are beautifully decorated and have queen size beds, located in an excellent and beautiful spot for a weekend getaway.

A good choice of food for breakfast, it was exceptional. The rooms were exceptional and the location was magnificent to a very good pub across the road.

The breakfast spread was so fresh, offering a full continental selection along with a hearty English breakfast. 🍳 Our room had a cozy and functional vibe, complete with a lounge area, a kettle, and even an iron for convenience.

The breakfast is extremely delicious!

The heating failed on two mornings. The room was therefore unpleasantly cold.

The room had incredible views overlooking the garden. The hotel's location is excellent, being close to buses, the Railway and York Castle Museum, and public transport to York town center. Also, within walking distance are pubs and bars.

The breakfast here was delicious and included fresh bacon, beverages, cereals, and fruit.

Staff were very good - very pleasant and helpful. Thought the general look and feel of the hotel was very good - felt like living in a Georgian home. Enjoyed the food - we had breakfast on 2 mornings and had dinner there for 2 evenings; well cooked, nicely presented.

Overall excellent - a unique hotel which has been decorated tastefully, staff could not Do enough - ideal To go Into the centre of York on pro and go. I would use this hotel again when visiting York and have already recommended it and will continue to Do So.

The hotel had top-class staff providing exceptional service. The location was convenient with a nice garden and easy access to York racecourse.- The hotel was just 3 km away from The Bars, making it easily accessible.

Well decorated and extremely pleasant room with a good-sized bathroom and a lounge. Fresh and relatively cheap breakfast with bacon and hot selections cooked to order.- Beautiful location in a lovely quiet area, close to a park and ride bus stop and the main tourist center.
